Explore Our Impact

Building bridges between high school, college, and beyond

Field trips and experiential learning help students:

  • Prepare for future learning processes
  • Increase their critical thinking skills
  • Increase their skills in observation
  • Increase their knowledge gained and retained

The benefits of field trips are generally much higher for students from less-advantaged backgrounds. Students from rural areas and high-poverty schools, as well as minority students, typically show gains that are two to three times larger.
